Those who post their CVs online beware! An experiment carried out recently involved researchers placing a fake job advert in a newspaper. It really was obvious this was a fake site, however, within a few days, the website has received 107 CVs, complete with names, addresses, employment history and everything else that a fraudster might need in order to create a false identity, or steal one.
The lesson from this? proceed with caution.
