Reading an article on the BBC website today prompted me to think about appraisals I’ve had, sat in on or delivered. I have to say I agree with the article, it’s a mixed bag of results and depending on the skill and ability of the person delivering the feedback the appraisal is either a useful dialogue or a waste of time.
I hope there are some organisations who do it well, if you’re out there, get in touch…I’d like to be enlightened.
